Diesel is a brand that appeals particularly to young people, and for good reason: it is synonymous with freedom. It champions boldness and constantly highlights those who dare. This is precisely the case with its new fragrance, Bad.
Synonymous with freedom, boldness, even rebellion, the Diesel brand has managed to forge an identity all its own. Although Diesel started out as a denim brand, it has diversified, notably by offering fragrances. In 2016, the brand introduced Diesel Bad, the brand's bad boy. Even more rebellious than the other fragrances, Diesel Bad fits perfectly within the brand's lineage. The Diesel Bad man displays a truly casual attitude and answers only to his own codes. A powerful and ultra-masculine fragrance.
A renowned duo behind Diesel's bad boy fragrance BAD
Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm were chosen to create Diesel Bad. Born far from Grasse, the perfumers' paradise, Anne Flipo managed to carve her own path alone. About a decade ago, Anne Flipo joined IFF (International Flavours and Fragrances). Discreet and sensual, Anne Flipo pours all her heart into each of her fragrances, as well as all her talent. She is behind great fragrances such as Olympéa by Paco Rabanne, Mademoiselle Rochas by Rochas, and La Vie est Belle by Lancôme. Carlos Benaïm was born in Tangier, Morocco. Throughout his childhood, he was steeped in all the magnificent scents of the Orient. He never left IFF, even though he had originally come for a simple training program. Carlos Benaïm's creativity is rooted in his childhood memories. He has received several awards and currently serves as Chairman of IFF's Global Creative Board. Carlos Benaïm is behind very fine fragrances such as Pure Poison by Christian Dior, Very Irresistible by Givenchy, and Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.
Diesel Bad, a concentrate of virility
Diesel Bad opens on ultra-invigorating, fresh notes of lemon and bergamot. These are nonetheless heightened by cardamom and the aromatic note of lavender. The heart is filled with emotion and caviar. Used in both cosmetics and perfumery, caviar is surprising. Not only does it evoke a certain luxury, even nobility, but it is also a genuine beauty ally. In perfumery, caviar is a precious elixir that offers powerful, salty, and ultra-sensual tonalities. Thoroughly virile, the base combines notes of tobacco and iris root for even more smoothness. The black bottle with gilded copper letters then adds a final touch of masculinity.
Thoroughly virile, Diesel Bad beautifully embodies the values of the Diesel brand and continues in the line of Only The Brave and Fuel For Life. In love with freedom, Diesel's bad boy displays a casual, self-assured demeanor.
