Sauvage Extrait is Dior’s first extrait de parfum for men, launched in 2026 and composed by Francis Kurkdjian. The densest version of the Sauvage line, it sets at its heart a Vietnamese oud essence with leather facets, in a chiaroscuro of Indonesian patchouli, Madagascan vetiver and Virginia cedarwood, lit at the top by bergamot and lavender from Provence.
A 50 ml bottle in crystalline glass with a deep blue interior lacquer, engraved with the CD monogram, which is also set on the cap.
Sauvage Extrait comes in a crystalline glass bottle whose interior is lacquered in a translucent deep blue. Dior sees in it a drop of ink suspended in the glass and calls this lacquering a true feat of glassmaking.
The glass is engraved with the CD monogram, a signature the house also sets on the cap, like a crown placed on the bottle. The fragrance exists only in 50 ml, in France as in the United States.
