Diorama is the second fragrance of the house of Dior. Edmond Roudnitska composed it in 1949, a fruity chypre built on the Prunol base he was fond of. The house reissued it in 2010 under Les Créations de Monsieur Dior, in a version it attributes to François Demachy: ylang-ylang and bergamot at the opening, jasmine and fruit at the centre, patchouli and cedar at the base.
Elena Vosnaki judged the 2010 reissue pleasant but short of the older vintages, the oakmoss missing from the roll call.

She recognises Diorama in the reissue: a ripe juice, a roundness of plum, an indeterminate white flower holding of sweet jasmine and caramelised immortelle.
She notes a cleaning up of the formula that moves the juice towards Le Parfum de Thérèse, with an overripe peach where melon used to dominate, and away from Femme.
Her verdict holds back. She finds the fragrance pleasant but below the older versions, says she preferred to buy Diorling, and notes that the inky depth of oakmoss is flamboyant in its absence.
