Chloé

A new breath of life for Chloé perfume Chloé is a company that was created in 1952 by a Parisian woman of Egyptian origin. It is a luxury house that has always been synonymous with a deep femininity. Thus, Chloé has managed to seduce all of Paris with its romanticism, both delicate and impertinent. While its very first fragrance was launched in 1975 in the form of a floral perfume, Chloé then withdrew from perfumery for many years.

Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion. With her avant-garde eye and determination, she first created luxury ready-to-wear. Her first feminine perfume was created in 1975, in collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. However, it remained the house's only fragrance for almost 20 years. It was necessary to wait until 2008 to see another fragrance appear. Named Chloé, it can boast of having truly launched the eponymous brand's story in the world of perfumery. Indeed, since its creation, many other perfumes have followed. Here then is our review of this initial fragrance.

Olfastory’s review

Chloé perfume, a symbol of refinement and elegance

Chloé perfume fits fully within the style of the house of the same name. Indeed, it symbolizes elegance, chic and luxury. Yet, even though it is a classic and authentic fragrance, it is not lacking in modernity. Addressing all women, it captures better than any other fragrance the prestige of fashion and Chloé's innate instinct for perfecting the allure of women. Like Chloé clothing, this perfume possesses a certain something of romanticism, joie de vivre and infectious cheerfulness. It is a promise of lightness deploying a captivating charm. With it, poetry is more present than ever.

A light and poetic fragrance

Chloé perfume is similar to a waking dream. It transports us with a simple breath into a wonderful and poetic world. This is materialized by the presence of peony, subtle and delicate. This is combined with Damask rose as well as magnolia, for a true surge of glamorous and sweet femininity. Then, cedar and ambergris give it more charisma and persistence, while amplifying the vibrant side of this perfume. From then on, the breath of Chloé captures attention. Refreshing and spontaneous, it is similar to a suspended moment. With it, a woman is rich with new energy, ideal for better enjoying life with cheerfulness and enthusiasm.

Chloé's very couture bottle

To perfect the already very elegant whole, Chloé perfume is contained in a bottle of great beauty. Directly inspired by fashion, it has pleated glass, a perfect echo of the sleeve of a Chloé blouse. Likewise, its neck is dressed with a pink ribbon, tied precisely around its collar. Its transparent cap in turn covers a small silver-colored metallic frame, soberly bearing the name Chloé.

Dree Hemingway, Chloé's ambassador

Finally, gaining an additional asset, Chloé is embodied on screen by Dree Hemingway, granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, and a talented top model who has posed for numerous luxury brands. Here, she embodies the image of a free woman, with authentic and natural beauty. Both elegant and falsely nonchalant, she appears in an advertisement directed by Jordan Scott.
