Bergamote Soleil
It is a love story that led Christophe Cervasel and Sylvie Ganter to create their own perfume house named Atelier Cologne. Together, they decided to pay tribute to Eaux de Cologne, scented fragrances considered to be the beginnings of modern perfumery.

Where to buy
Indeed, for many years, Colognes were the only perfumes used by men. Their freshness was highly appreciated but their longevity left something to be desired. This is how Atelier Cologne remedied this drawback by offering revitalizing juices capable of enduring over the hours. In this context was born a soft and sun-kissed fragrance named Bergamote Soleil.
The expertise of the house Atelier Cologne
Like each of the juices coming from Atelier Cologne, Bergamote Soleil is a fragrance made in France, in the purest respect of the house's craftsmanship. It draws inspiration from the Mediterranean climate and the French art of living, offering a genuine moment of gentleness. In order to offer ever nobler fragrances, Atelier Cologne works in close collaboration with the greatest perfume houses based in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery located near Nice. In this way, the house obtains products that respect its traditions and stem from an inimitable ancestral family expertise. As for the bottle, Atelier Cologne likewise bet on quality by calling on the Pochet du Courval glassworks. It is they who crafted the case for Bergamote Soleil. This perfume appears to contain nature's finest raw materials and favors natural ingredients over synthetic ones above all. In other words, wearing Bergamote Soleil amounts to choosing impeccable quality, both in terms of fragrance composition and bottle design.
The summery scent of Bergamote Soleil
It is a vacation image that inspired the creation of the perfume Bergamote Soleil: They had taken turns driving all night… The minivan, identical to the one from their first meeting, ran alongside the row of bergamot trees leading to the villa. The lunch table was set. He was barely surprised to see them, as if deep down they had never parted. The moment trembled with the luminous energy of friendship. In other words, Bergamote Soleil is a concentrate of happiness, freshness and summer. It opens with an invigorating scent of Calabrian bergamot combined with bitter orange from Côte d'Ivoire. Ambrette from Ecuador lends this opening a slightly sensual touch before the whole shifts to a more floral ground composed of jasmine from Egypt and lavender from Provence. Nevertheless, the initial burst of freshness of Bergamote Soleil is preserved by the presence of cardamom from Guatemala. Finally, the whole leaves behind a more vibrant and sustained sillage brimming with vetiver, oakmoss from Slovenia and white amber. Naturally, for greater radiance, the whole is conceived in a bright yellow tone that is reminiscent of the magic of summer days.
