Selva Do Brazil is a fragrance that was more specifically crafted by perfumer Jennifer Riley. She immersed herself in the emblematic raw materials of this region of the world to create her composition. When I created Selva Do Brazil, she says, I imagined these humid, rich and deep notes that invite one to venture ever further into the selva. Then I could only let myself be swept away by the immensity of this green ocean, surprising and unpredictable. To achieve this, Jennifer Riley showcased tonka bean from Brazil. Beyond its warm, gourmand flavor, close to that of almond, tonka bean also carries symbolic significance for the Brazilian people. For them, it is a good luck charm. In addition, Selva Do Brazil also contains petitgrain from Paraguay. The tree cultivated in this country to produce petitgrain essential oil is a hybrid between the bitter orange tree and the sweet orange tree. This yields a green, floral essential oil that closely resembles the scent of orange blossom. Finally, Selva Do Brazil is further rounded out by the woody, smoky and milky presence of guaiac wood from Argentina. In terms of aesthetics, Selva Do Brazil is housed in the emblematic bottle of the Collection des Grands Crus. Rectangular in shape, it reveals its juice through a transparent surface. Nevertheless, for Selva Do Brazil, this surface is adorned with numerous leaves resembling those of the Amazon rainforest.
