Pour Elle

Azzaro Pour Elle came out in 2015 under Clarins Fragrance Group as the feminine counterpart to Azzaro pour Homme. Nathalie Lorson and Fabrice Pellegrin composed a floral woody amber: a rosé Champagne accord and green cardamom on top, rose and lily in the heart, cashmere wood and olibanum incense in the base. In 2025, the house reused the name for a different eau de parfum.

The house describes three stages. A bright, sparkling duo of rosé Champagne accord and green cardamom opens the fragrance; rose and lily join in a floral heart; cashmere wood and olibanum incense warm the base and carry the trail.

Now Smell This relayed this description in March 2015: an unexpected, radiant and sparkling moment, a harmonious floral fusion, a flamboyant and voluptuous trail. Cashmere wood refers to cashmeran, a synthetic material with woody accents.

What stays out

Some descriptions from the time add citrus notes on top: the house credited cardamom with fresh, lemony and spicy facets. Orange, mandarin, peach, sandalwood and vanilla, cited by many online lists, do not appear in its description.

The other Pour Elle fragrances

Pour Elle Extrême added saffron to the cardamom and oud to the incense in 2016; its notes also include rose, lily, peach and cashmeran. The eau de toilette softens the original with rosy notes, white musk and cardamom.

The 2025 version keeps only the rose among these materials. Azzaro describes lemon essence for the opening, a rose accord for the heart and sandalwood essence for the base, with a macaron-like sweetness.
