The house’s notes

The house describes three explosions: a tangy top of grapefruit and pink berries, a smooth hazelnut cream as the heart note, and a base where vetiver blends with patchouli, Angel’s signature. It presents the whole as the first gourmand vetiver.

Hazelnut, vetiver and vanilla

Thomas Dunckley, of The Candy Perfume Boy, sums up Quentin Bisch’s approach: hazelnut takes the place of Angel’s dark chocolate and vetiver adds a masculine touch. Elisa, on Bois de Jasmin, observes that the fragrance grows more and more vanillic, whereas Angel lets its patchouli rise instead.

Notes left aside

Older descriptions credit Angel Muse with mandarin, bergamot, orange, red fruits or cocoa. The house retains none of them in the notes it declares.
