The house of Mugler has never shied away from bold olfactory innovations. With Angel, its first fragrance, it opened up the hitherto unexplored path of gourmand fragrances. With Alien, new sun-kissed and sensual accords were discovered. With A*Men, masculine fragrances discovered new gourmand notes and the magnificent limited-edition flankers would not belie this originality.

With every new flanker Mugler innovates, and the least one can say is that for A*Men Pure Malt the house did not skimp on boldness, aging perfumed scents like precious liqueurs. Previously, the house had already offered Angel La Part des Anges in partnership with Rémy Martin Cognacs. For A*Men and the other bottles of the sublime Les Liqueurs de Parfums collection, the barrel-aging process would be the same, and the result just as magnificent as the discovery of a grand cru.

Combining the expertise of perfumers with that of coopers and cellar masters, the house's signature fragrances are developed in wood barrels... toasted, if you please, for the 2013 creations. A*Men Pure Malt an entirely new intense woody oriental

The pretty A*Men Pure Malt bottle retains the legendary shape of the whisky flask of its brilliant elder, the father of the A*Men line. The rubber coating of the opulent bottle, for this very virile edition, has been struck in black, and the beautiful star, Mugler's symbol, has been tinted with soft syrupy amber colors.

A*Men Pure Malt opens with fruity notes offering a sweet and gourmand tonality to the fragrance. Then the oak barrel aging offers barley and wood notes that are both mysterious and highly refined. Finally we discover the enigmatic depths of the perfumed liqueur, built around peat and smoky notes. This amber alcohol blends with the original oriental accords of A*Men to give A*Men Pure Malt a sillage of intense character.
