Ten years after 1 Million, 1 Million Lucky makes its appearance. The story of Paco Rabanne's 1 Million takes us back to 2008. This virile, unconventional and slightly ironic juice literally upended the masculine olfactory world.
Paco Rabanne invokes luck for its fragrance 1 Million Lucky
The house of Paco Rabanne has always offered us innovative and daring fragrances, yet for a long time it searched for its style and its bestselling fragrance. It seems that since Black XS in 2005, Paco Rabanne fragrances have not stopped surprising us and setting themselves apart from the classics. The One Million-Lady Million pair is a striking example of this and their fragrances continue to captivate. In spring 2018 we discover a new flanker of this Mister One Million to whom everything succeeds, named One Million Lucky, no doubt this name brings him luck!
One Million Lucky or the fresh scents of the man with gold ingots
Paco Rabanne fragrances were born in 1970 and from their entry into perfumery offered beautiful compositions, as original as the eponymous haute couture label. Yet despite lovely successes, the house of Paco Rabanne had not yet found its bestseller, the fragrance that would propel it into the ranks of the greatest houses. It was after many years and a much more offbeat world than at the outset that Black XS would finally make the brand explode. From then on Paco Rabanne multiplied its successes and its boldness with Olympéa and Invictus then One Million and Lady Million.
One Million, launched in 2008, aims to be a counterpoint to the olfactory tradition of masculine fragrances. Far from fougères and far from fresh fragrances, One Million bursts with thunderous tonicities, burning spices and sophisticated, unexpected flowers.
1 MILLION is the myth of the good life, an olfactory signature as powerful as it is unexpected and an advertising campaign off the beaten track. The gentleman with the famous finger snap was born, attributed to Puig for Paco Rabanne 1 Million.
Subsequently, Paco Rabanne and the trio of perfumers behind this One Million would give rise to beautiful flankers of this One Million, including the lovely and spring-like One Million Lucky in 2018.
One Million Lucky aims to remain just as impertinent as the original bottle but this time it wants to carry us into more fruity adventures thanks to plum, but also aquatic, fresher adventures, while taking on woody notes that are themselves more intense.
Fruits, cashmere and aquatic notes for a spring-like 1 Million Lucky that remains just as daring!
The house of Paco Rabanne likes to communicate about its fragrances in a way quite different from others. Thus we currently know only a little information about the exact composition of One Million Lucky or even about the perfumer or perfumers who created it. Nevertheless, Paco Rabanne has left a few clues about ingredients that allow us to understand the construction of this lovely and fresh One Million Lucky.
One Million Lucky opens, like its fine predecessor, on citrus freshness, propelled for this edition by an ozonic marine wave and a fruity touch of plum. At the heart, the flower remains but this time it is a jasmine that will dress woody notes of cashmere wood and cedar. A touch of hazelnut and honey would be added to this One Million Lucky to reinforce its woody aspect. Finally, patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver still form the burning and sensual depths of this One Million Lucky man who remains a charmer at heart…
