Bvlgari Man Black Cologne
In 2010, the house Bvlgari launched Bvlgari Man. This fragrance was followed by a first flanker named Bvlgari Man In Black in 2014. This time, it is a new, fresher than ever variation that is offered within this collection.

Where to buy
The newcomer from the house is named Bvlgari Man Black Cologne and is presented by the house as a fragrance that is warm, cold, powerful and explosive. The house Bvlgari likes to say that it was born at the center of a volcano.
Bvlgari's Sicilian inspiration
In order to create this new scent, Bvlgari drew from the depths of Sicily, in the literal sense of the term. Indeed, its press release states that Bvlgari Man Black Cologne comes from the Alcantara gorges in Sicily. During the eruption of Etna, 2500 years before Christ, this frozen water came into contact with the incandescent lava. The lava, solidified into rock by the thermal shock, is said to have given rise to a geological phenomenon called basalt organ. Thus, like this solidified lava, Bvlgari Man Black Cologne presents itself as a mineral, warm and explosive fragrance. Bvlgari's inspiration is somewhat conceptual but helps to give shape to this fragrance of strong, natural, sensual, Mediterranean and authentic masculinity.
The contrasting scents of Bvlgari Man Black Cologne
It is to perfumer Alberto Morillas that we owe the creation of this new fragrance. Bvlgari Man Black Cologne skillfully plays on contrasts and offers a blend of intense freshness and oriental sensuality. The overall rendering of this fragrance remains fresh and sophisticated. In this sense, it is close to a Cologne. Nevertheless, it does not lack character. Its top notes combine the heady quality of rum with the freshness of greenery and citrus. While the predecessors of Bvlgari Man Black Cologne tended to place tuberose in the foreground, here it serves to enhance the radiant luminosity of orange blossom and wrap it in its exquisite sweetness. Finally, the whole ends with an intoxicating and seductive combination of amber, sandalwood and musk. As for the bottle, Bvlgari Man Black Cologne naturally takes up the codes of its predecessors. It comes in a thick block with a solid base. The latter is tinted an anthracite gray resembling stone, perhaps a way of referencing the solidified volcanic matter. The whole is nevertheless topped with a cap that differs from before and is now metallized. The Bvlgari logo is embossed onto it and the whole is designed in a typography worthy of Ancient Greece. Bvlgari Man Black Cologne nevertheless manages to remain very contemporary. It is ideally designed to make it easy to hold and is fitted with a particularly practical spray cap.
