Vent Vert
There are fragrances that one never tires of rediscovering. This is precisely what allows them to endure through the ages. Such was notably the case with Vent Vert from the house of Balmain. It came into being in 1947 and continues to dazzle with its extraordinary concentration of Galbanum.

This raw material has never seemed so sublimated! Moreover, while this composition is absolutely fascinating, its bottle also lives up to the prestige of this perfume.
Vent Vert, a perfume of renewal
Vent Vert is a fragrance that was born in the spring of 1947, in a festive atmosphere. Indeed, all of Paris was then rediscovering a taste for life after the war. Creativity was omnipresent, and it is precisely this creative renewal that is found in this perfume. It symbolizes, better than any other, the French people's desire to live. It is like a light dress, a desire to seduce, a rediscovered freshness. Thus, it takes on a very springlike look, appearing airy, lively and even bold. Moreover, it should be noted that it plunges us into the heart of an era during which families were beginning to discover the joys of vacations. Thus, it draws its inspiration more particularly from life outdoors or a weekend in the countryside. It carries us into the depths of a wooded grove or into a great damp meadow. A universal and authentic perfume, Vent Vert has thus managed to captivate entire generations, reaching us today with just as much grace and subtlety.
The concentrate of nature offered by Balmain
Vent Vert is a true immersion into the heart of nature. It opens with a blend of citrus, particularly Lemon and Bergamot, for a particularly invigorating result. Then, these raw materials are combined with the aromatic and lively facet of Basil. Sage then takes over, leading into a more floral and green heart. This is composed of Hyacinth and Lily of the Valley. Nevertheless, it is indeed Galbanum that remains the star of this perfume. Here it is dosed at 8%, a record never equaled! It brings its incisive freshness to the composition. The whole is nevertheless softened by a bouquet of Jonquil, Neroli, Rose, Violet, Iris, Freesia and Ylang-ylang. Finally, Vent Vert closes with a more woody sillage combining Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedar, Oakmoss and Amber. Musk, for its part, lends it an almost animalic sensuality. Finally, let us not forget to highlight the creativity of the Vent Vert bottle. It has a sober, transparent base in which its green juice is displayed. Its cap, on the other hand, is much more eccentric. It was initially shaped like a kind of black disc before being replaced by a green spray in 1990. Nevertheless, since 2012, it has taken the form of a silvery globe echoing the famous disco ball of the 1950s. Finally, the whole is also adorned with a green polka-dot fabric bow at the neck, a nod to the carefree spirit and springtime fashion.
