The 7 Virtues publishes a three-tier pyramid: golden apple in the top; vanilla orchid and wild magnolia in the heart; creamy sandalwood, sheer vanilla, warm amber, cashmere musk, Iso E Super and suede in the base.
The house describes a golden apple that brightens velvety magnolia and vanilla orchid, over a warm base of amber and creamy sandalwood. It gives Iso E Super the role of harmonizing the notes with the skin, for a warm floral it calls modern.
The launch press release credits it with a soft, second-skin finish and presents the golden apple as the new touch from a house whose signature remains vanilla.
What the label declares
After alcohol, fragrance and water, the ingredient list places tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, the name of the Iso E Super listed in the base, and hexadecanolactone, a musk. Vanillin, bitter orange flower oil and rose ketones also appear.
Bergamot and lemon oils, Peru balsam and patchouli oil, which the published notes do not mention, complete the list, along with the declarable components of these oils, from limonene to farnesol.
