Stronger With You

Stronger With You opens on a spicy accord of cardamom, pink pepper and violet leaf. Sage occupies the aromatic heart, joined by the lavender the house adds in its current description, and the base brings together vanilla and the candied chestnut accord.

The spicy top

The house compares the fragrance’s unpredictable, surprising character to the spicy accord of its top, where cardamom and pink pepper mingle with violet leaf.

Sage and lavender

Sage has held the heart since the launch, and the house credits it with the fragrance’s confident elegance. Its current description adds lavender, for an aromatic heart that the house classifies among amber fougères.

Vanilla and candied chestnut

The base pairs a smoky vanilla, which the house calls Vanilla Jungle Essence, with the candied chestnut accord. This vanilla links Stronger With You to Because It’s You: it is shared by both fragrances of the couple, and worked here in a woody, spicy and smoky way.

What is left out

In the United Kingdom, Armani also circulates a more detailed list, which adds an apple accord in the top, places cardamom and cinnamon among the heart notes and sets cedar, guaiac wood and amber woods in the base. These additions remain outside the notes listed here, which follow the launch description the house still uses in France.

What the label declares

The ingredient list has nineteen entries. After alcohol, fragrance and water come a UV filter, diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, and twelve regulated allergens: limonene, linalool, coumarin, isoeugenol, citronellol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, eugenol, citral, benzyl alcohol, geraniol, cinnamal and methyl 2-octynoate.

The juice owes its amber hue to three colorants: CI 19140 for yellow, CI 14700 for red and CI 60730 for violet.
