Giorgio Armani and its men's fragrance Stronger with You It was in 1998 that the first Emporio Armani fragrance couple was born, embodying the image of two lovers who are casual, glamorous, sexy and resolutely modern. Since that day, they have continued to reinvent themselves and reveal new facets of their personality.
Released in 2017, Stronger With You is a surprising and magnetic men's fragrance. As a tribute to contemporary couples, Armani envisioned a young and casual olfactory couple, Stronger With You and Because of You. Free to love and seduce, both offer the image of a modern couple. Casual, yet very masculine, Stronger With You displays its personality without complex. Young and rebellious, authentic and contemporary, the Armani man does not play a role here — he reveals himself as he is. Love, respect and individuality are signed Cécile Matton.
Stronger With You, a magnetic modernity signed by perfumer Cécile Matton
It is perfumer Cécile Matton whom the house of Armani chose to create this ultra-contemporary men's fragrance. From her childhood in Zaire, Cécile Matton retained heightened senses and a love of particular scents. Cécile Matton pursued studies in pharmacy, then chemistry, before turning to perfumery. When asked about her favorite scents, she states nutmeg, the smell of puppies, a synthetic material called Orcanox, especially when combined with vanilla, and the smell of drying laundry. Very contemporary, Cécile Matton loves sensual fragrances. Now a perfumer at Mane, Cécile Matton is behind beautiful fragrances such as Bonbon by Viktor & Rolf and Baby Doll by Yves Saint Laurent.
Stronger With You, energetic and sensual fragrant notes
Stronger With You opens on rather impertinent tones that combine violet flower, cardamom and pink pepper. Also known as false pepper, pink pepper originates from Réunion Island. Pink pepper offers a fairly soft, almost sweet flavor at first, becoming warm and spicy. Pink pepper pairs perfectly well with many dishes. In perfumery, pink pepper essence is obtained by steam distillation of the ripe fruit. Then, the heart of Stronger With You is steeped in clary sage, offering a powerful aromatic tone. Finally, the base of Stronger With You is enveloping and highly gourmand, combining vanilla, chestnut and hazelnut. Originating from Tropical America, vanilla was long called the black pod.
The Amazon rainforest is home to numerous vanilla vines, and some people even wear them as necklaces. Vanilla was recorded in Martinique in 1724 and was imported to France starting in 1812 thanks to a gardener named Milier. In 1925, governor Merwart chose this vine to feature on the coat of arms of Réunion Island. Vanilla from Réunion was later grouped with that of the Comoros and Madagascar under the global label Vanille Bourbon starting in 1964. This label is a mark of very high quality. Made of solid glass, the bottle displays design-forward, ultra-modern lines. On the cap, two rings can be found, a symbol of eternal and powerful love.
