Sakura joined the Maison Christian Dior collection in 2018, now La Collection Privée. François Demachy devoted it to the cherry blossom, which he discovered one spring in Japan. The house describes it as a silk veil embroidered with barely bloomed flowers and an almond note; at launch, it spoke of cherry blossom and rose. It is worn by men and women alike.

Sakura comes in the La Collection Privée bottle. The house offers to top it with a couture cap bearing Dior motifs, houndstooth, Dior Oblique, cannage, toile de Jouy, Mitzah or Plan de Paris, and provides engraving.
For the Cruise collection, a limited edition dresses the case in a botanical decor with pink nuances, where butterflies and plants intertwine, a motif by the artist Pietro Ruffo. This edition comes in 125 and 250 milliliters.
