Launched by Cartier in 2020, Pasha de Cartier Parfum gives the 1992 Pasha fougère a denser version, turned toward sandalwood and amber. Mathilde Laurent places sandalwood and patchouli at the top, cistus in the middle, benzoin and tonka bean in the base. The bottle keeps the gadroons and blue cabochon of the watch. Varanis Ridari sees it as a Pasha apart.

On October 20, 2020, Varanis Ridari welcomed an unexpected variation. Mathilde Laurent does not strengthen the 1992 fougère: she moves Pasha onto a modern oriental base, close to L’Envol de Cartier, without the lavender, mint or oakmoss of the original.
According to the author, the composition gains in smoothness: a creamy sandalwood, a patchouli without camphor, a touch of cognac and ambrocenide in place of rougher ambery woods. The trail grows over the hours, hence the advice not to overdo it.
The author keeps it for cold weather, formal evenings or dates, and finds it wearable by a woman. Redundant for anyone who owns L’Envol, Pasha de Cartier Parfum remains in the author’s eyes a modern sandalwood better than one expects from a designer house.
