Pasha, Cartier's irresistible man
Before being an object or a fragrance signed Cartier, the Pasha designates a rich and powerful man, of Turkish origin and princely rank. He is known for appreciating luxury and ultimate refinement. So Cartier quickly decided to draw on his innate elegance to create a range of watches. In this instance, Pasha was the first watertight watch in the world. It was immediately embraced by the greatest personalities on the planet. Pasha thus quickly became the symbol of a man for whom everything succeeds. He therefore seems to possess a good number of assets to seduce: a captivating gaze, a nonchalant yet no less elegant bearing, a charming smile, an appealing composure… And of course, a Cartier watch on his wrist! So, following this success, Cartier soon drew on this product and on Turkish legends to create a masculine fragrance. It reveals the image of a distinguished and rather classic personality. It is a tribute to beautiful things and to refinement, and it instantly releases an immense richness.
The scent of Cartier's charismatic gentleman
It was thus that the Pasha fragrance by Cartier made its appearance in 1992. It was created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier and immediately asserted its powerful dynamism. Pasha displays a highly energizing freshness combined with more virile tonalities. Its top notes are mainly made up of mint leaves and mandarin. The latter reveals its zesty pep and is enriched with the aromatic effluvia of thyme. Lavender, for its part, brings its typically masculine scent. Indeed, it has always been a plant used in men's cosmetics, notably in barbershops. Then, the heart of Pasha evolves toward more roundness. It notably features rosewood combined with the sparkling freshness of coriander. Finally, Pasha displays all its refinement in its sillage. This does not hide its virility and offers a woody accord based on oak, sandalwood, labdanum and patchouli. Naturally, Pasha's taste for beautiful things is also illustrated in its bottle. It takes on a cylindrical shape and is cut from a highly worked glass. It is topped with a silver cap ringed with gold, particularly evocative of the dial of Cartier's Pasha watches… Thus, from watchmaking to perfumery, there seems to be but a single step!
Pasha de Cartier Eau de Toilette
Pasha is a masculine fragrance that asserts its tenacious and tonic freshness as the expression of a controlled virility, an alliance of strength and elegance contained within a single essence.
A fragrance of the aromatic fougère family whose citrus, aromatic and minty top note exhales with persistence and power, then evolves into a heart note within the floral restraint of rosewood, coriander and corbeille d'or.
This bouquet with spicy accents is quietly softened in the base note by the woody essences of oakmoss, labdanum and patchouli.
Notes: Mandarin, Lavender, Thyme, Spearmint.
