It is precisely from this last line that the Italian house's new fragrance emerges. The One was launched for the very first time in 2006, embodying heightened feminine sensuality and remarkable glamorous potential. Then, incorporating a surprising touch of coffee and violet into its composition, this range eventually gave rise to The Only One, in 2018. Today, after the creation of The Only One 2, history repeats itself. This time, Dolce & Gabbana invites us to discover The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense.

The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense, the fragrance of a wildly sensual woman

Since its birth, the The One collection has been the symbol of a particularly seductive woman, a kind of demanding and determined diva who manages to capture the full attention of her audience with a single glance. It is precisely along this path that The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense sets out. Embodied on screen by actress Emilia Clarke, no one seems able to resist the charm of this fragrance. Emilia perfectly embodies the Dolce & Gabbana woman: she is radiant and full of life. Her personality and natural beauty capture the essence of this new campaign: joyful, spontaneous and playful. She is The One!, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana enthuse. The woman who proudly wears The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense draws the spotlight upon herself. For her, the world of luxury holds no secrets, and constantly topping the bill is child's play!

Dolce & Gabbana offers a sun-kissed fragrance in a new glamorous case

The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense comes in a luxuriously architectural bottle. Both design-forward and streamlined, its bottle displays a very contemporary style. Conceived as a heavy block of glass, the bottle of The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense imposes its massive silhouette on everyone's eyes, which only amplifies its luxurious appearance. Here, the transparency of the glass has given way to a more glamorous black lacquer. A few gold elements appear on the neck ring of the bottle and on the lettering of its name. For the occasion, moreover, The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense is written in cursive script, reminiscent of the female body in motion.
The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense is a sun-kissed, contrasted fragrance, which opens first on a fruity scent of crisp green apple and mandarin. Immediately, neroli lights up the whole and leads us toward a sunnier heart. The natural radiance of orange blossom then contrasts with the darker, warmer sensuality of black vanilla. Finally, The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense closes on a woody base of cedar and cashmere wood.

The advertising

Roman trattoria and song

Emilia Clarke sings in a Roman trattoria for a film by Matteo Garrone, with a print campaign by the Morelli Brothers.

Emilia Clarke sings Quando, Quando, Quando with local musicians in a traditional trattoria in Rome, surrounded by her friends: this is the setting of the advertising film directed by Italian director Matteo Garrone, who reunites with the actress for the occasion. The print component is photographed by the Morelli Brothers. This setup is the same one already used for The Only One in 2018, and its identical reuse for the Intense edition is not confirmed by the house; a professional travel retail blog nonetheless features it in its launch article for the Intense edition.

The precedent is documented: for The Only One in 2018, Emilia Clarke is photographed in black and white by Luca and Alessandro Morelli in a Roman trattoria, a black and white style reminiscent of the spirit of Ferdinando Scianna, while Matteo Garrone's short film is shot in a trattoria in Trastevere. The same actress already wears The One fragrances, in a film also directed by Garrone.

In February 2020, Dolce & Gabbana publicly named Emilia Clarke as the face of the The Only One fragrances.
