Violaine Collas's career path

Violaine Collas was not born in Grasse, unlike so many perfumers. She was born in Paris and was introduced very early on to the finest raw materials. However, her parents first conveyed this through food. Incidentally, her brother became a winemaker. Violaine Collas, on the other hand, took a different path and decided to enter the world of perfumery. She spared no effort and joined one of the greatest perfume schools in the world: ISIPCA in Versailles. Over time, this school has become almost a mandatory step for all young fragrance enthusiasts wishing to pursue a career in perfumery. She then received guidance from one of the best perfumers in the world: Dominique Ropion. He introduced her to fine perfumery and became her mentor. Thus, Violaine Collas worked with him for many years. Violaine Collas then worked at Symrise for 12 years. However, she was mainly involved in developing cosmetic products. She now seems to have returned to her first love and has joined the Mane group, where she holds the position of senior perfumer.

Violaine Collas's great creations

Violaine Collas's career in perfumery is fairly recent. Indeed, for 12 years, she did not sign any fragrances. It is only since her return to Mane that this creator has once again put her name to creations. Still, Violaine Collas can already boast having worked with the greatest fragrance houses. It all began with the creation of Honour Woman for Amouage, in 2011. Then, in 2012, Violaine Collas signed three massive projects simultaneously: Red Amber for Pascal Morabito, Mauboussin pour Lui for the eponymous brand, and Dangerous Complicity for Etat Libre d'Orange. At the same time, she also worked for the brand Atkinsons, Comptoir Sud Pacifique, Lalique, Pozzo di Borgo, and Stendhal.
