Olympea Legend

Where to buy
Indeed, Paco Rabanne does not simply design fragrances. It tells us a story through each of its creations and immerses us in an entire world of its own. With Olympéa, the mood is timeless. This fragrance seems to come straight from ancient Greece, while retaining a disconcerting modernity. It is like an elixir fallen straight from the mountain of the gods to flood the human world with all its flavor. This time, Olympéa opens a new chapter in its story and becomes Olympéa Legend.
Olympéa Legend, the fragrance of a powerful and determined woman
Olympéa Legend is a brand-new fragrance that tells us the story of a new heroine. It is intended for all those who are not faint of heart, and who do not hesitate to shatter every certainty in their path and blow banality to pieces. At the crossroads of time, Olympéa Legend is a fascinating fragrance, with a taste for adventure. Wild and epic, it reveals the conquering woman slumbering within you. Olympéa Legend is a syrupy elixir, designed to celebrate victory. Irreverent and sensual, it leaves no one indifferent, and already promises to make you succumb to temptation!
Olympéa Legend, a syrupy nectar in an antique bottle
Olympéa Legend is described as “a desert flower on warm sand. An addiction of salted-vanilla plum. A stunning duel in the sun that loves the skin. Infinitely.” On a purely olfactory level, this first translates into the presence of palm flowers, an unusual and infinitely lush ingredient. Its freshness is here paired with an immediate sun-kissed impression. Plum, for its part, lends a more velvety and syrupy quality to this composition. Note, however, that it is worked here in a salty way, an unexpected touch that gives more depth to this fragrance. The heart of Olympéa Legend is also brimming with vanilla, an ingredient widely used in women's perfumery, and renowned for its sensuality. Suave and languorous, the vanilla here releases a sweet, smoky, slightly spicy softness. Finally, the formula of Olympéa Legend softens further at its base, with the presence of tonka bean, a voluptuous ingredient with an almondy breath.
Olympéa Legend comes to us in a bottle with a silhouette that is already world-famous. Indeed, it reuses the visual of its predecessors and brilliantly blends antique codes with a very contemporary aesthetic. The bottle of Olympéa Legend forms a perfect circle and takes on a divine allure. It rests on a copper-toned metal crown, worked in a fluted pattern. This shape is far from having been chosen at random and alone evokes the laurels of victory, echoing the full power of the goddess Olympéa. The style of this bottle is very Art Deco. The only real difference from its predecessors: the glass of Olympéa Legend darkens and becomes more amber than before.

The advertising
Paco Rabanne stages Olympéa and Invictus in the desert
It was in a hotel in the ninth arrondissement of Paris that Paco Rabanne recently presented its two new fragrances, Invictus Legend and Olympéa Legend, flankers of its previous, already world-famous fragrances. Since its launch in 2015, Olympéa has not stopped generating buzz, presenting itself as a sort of modern-day Cleopatra in conquest of power. With a more ambery juice, the Olympéa Legend fragrance now rests on a warm-cold contrast and gives off a gourmand, fruity scent that no one can resist! But what about its new advertisement?
Luma Grothe, face of the Paco Rabanne campaign, in a stunning advertisement!
Olympéa Legend has barely launched and it is already featured in a dazzling advertisement. The scene unfolds to the track “Power” by Kanye West, and is set in the Namibian desert. Olympéa Legend and Invictus Legend are brought together in a wild chase, with the feel of science fiction. The advertisement for these two fragrances is worthy of a blockbuster! The two heroes fight together against enemies of every kind. Nick Youngquest rides a sort of futuristic motorcycle of impressive size, while Luma Grothe gallops on a horse. Victorious, they nevertheless end up side by side, savoring their victory together. Luma Grothe and Nick Youngquest seem closer than ever. From then on, Olympéa Legend is no longer just a heroine but becomes a legend. Paco Rabanne states it: heroes come and go, but myths are eternal.
The desert setting of Olympéa Legend
Note in passing that the new setting for this advertisement is very surprising. Indeed, until now, Olympéa was always staged in a rather nocturnal atmosphere, at the heart of Olympus, the mountain of the gods. This time, Paco Rabanne completely changes the mood and opts for the Namibian desert and its long stretches of wilderness. Sand is everywhere. For lounging around, however, one will have to look elsewhere!
The bottle of Olympéa Legend, heavily inspired by its predecessor
Of course, as befits any respectable advertisement, the television spot for Olympéa Legend showcases its new bottle. This, however, only appears in the very last part of the advertising campaign. The design of Olympéa Legend offers no real surprise. It comes to us in a rounded glass flask, resting on a chiseled base. In a very Art Deco style, it is surrounded by golden laurels, evoking the laurels of victory from antiquity. The whole is topped with a golden cap, very refined and sun-kissed. Only the name Olympéa breaks this purity, appearing delicately on its front face, in a script style with a very Roman feel. The real difference in this new bottle lies in its juice, more ambery than before.
