Olympea Legend

The legend of the Olympéa fragrances continues... Paco Rabanne is a true artist at heart, whose every creation is always highly anticipated.

Paco Rabanne signs a legendary composition for its Olympéa fragrance

The house of Paco Rabanne made the choice to offer us the world of the gods of ancient Greece in 2013 with Invictus, the invincible athlete, then to give him a companion in 2015, the irresistible goddess Olympéa, who bewitches every god in her path.

The goddess opens the gates of her paradise of salted, sensual vanilla, revealing every year new ways to wear her scent; in 2019, she even dares a scorching exoticism with Olympéa Legend.

Olympea Legend, when vanilla turns fruity and syrupy, a new sensuality is born

Olympéa Legend offers a new vision of the vanilla sensuality originally created in 2015 by Anne Flipo, Loc Dong and Dominique Ropion.

Indeed, the various bottles built around Olympéa Eau de Parfum have each in turn expressed the salted vanilla accord, the backbone of the original creation, in accords that were at times powerful with solar and animalic notes for Olympea Intense, at times an aquatic freshness for Olympéa Aqua, or even a wave of floral ambergris in Olympéa Aqua 2018.

With Olympéa Legend, the journey in 2019 takes the form of a thoroughly exotic vanilla between floral and solar notes, a new syrupy plum accord and depths of tonka bean that are also unprecedented. We therefore understand that the new 2019 Olympéa creation will once again play on contrast to captivate us with great olfactory originality while remaining just as sensual.

The signature vanilla accord of Olympéa Legend draws its strength from exotic and summery notes

For this Olympea Legend, the famous, highly heroic bottle inspired by ancient Greece and designed by the artist Marc Aurèle (it could not be made up!) is kept identical, yet it is marked by the powerful orange glow of the fragrance it holds, as if this Olympéa Legend were the fruit of the gods, or a fruit turned into liqueur through sublime aging, or perhaps divine intervention?

Olympéa Legend is also marked by a great many olfactory changes compared to the original bottle and its various flankers. Because, even though the power of its accords might bring it closer to Olympéa Intense released in 2017, Olympéa Legend chose to play on a floral-fruity accord rather than solar flowers (orange blossom and tiare flower), as was the case in the 2017 bottle.

Olympéa Legend begins its precious journey with rare and precious notes of palm flowers which, without a doubt, evoke sun and warmth while remaining very feminine. Then in the heart, the vanilla is of course still just as creamy, yet, paired with a candied plum note, it takes on a syrupy density and a touch of spice. Finally, the almondy note of tonka bean lends a powdery roundness to the whole, evoking as well that famous coumarin which once again brings salt to the emblematic vanilla of Olympéa. Irresistible, the sensual depths of Olympéa Legend plunge us into an exotic journey that seems never to end...

Without a doubt, the exotic sensuality of this new Olympéa Legend chapter will leave no one indifferent!
