Repetto Néroli Solaire Eau de Toilette

Néroli Solaire, a luminous caress joins the dancing world of Repetto. It all began in 1947... Roland Petit was then a dancer and choreographer in a Parisian workshop. His mother, Rose Repetto, decided to make him custom dance shoes. Quickly, the quality of her creation became known.

The Repetto house is famous worldwide for its iconic dance ballet flats. Indeed, since 1947, Repetto has accompanied dancers around the world. Stepping into a Repetto store is like entering a timeless universe, made of poetry, dance and wonder. Yet, beyond its dance accessories, Repetto also offers perfumes. Since 2013, Repetto has thus accompanied the movement of young opera dancers, leaving behind them a captivating sillage. In 2022, Repetto signs the most sun-kissed and luminous fragrance of its entire collection. Here is our review of Repetto Néroli Solaire.

Olfastory’s review

The most exotic recipe in the entire Repetto collection

Usually, Repetto fragrances are often floral, powdery compositions. The house's creations fall fully within the world of classical dance, working around refined and elegant rose. This is precisely how the feminine fragrances Repetto Le Parfum from 2013 or Repetto L'Eau Florale from 2015 were designed. This time, for Repetto Néroli Solaire, the mood is entirely different. In fact, rose is not even present in this composition. As the name of this fragrance indicates, the star of this new olfactory ballet is none other than neroli. A particularly sweet and zesty flower, it is joined by other equally luminous ingredients. Frangipani flower, ylang-ylang, gardenia and Bourbon vanilla are all elements found in the composition of Repetto Néroli Solaire. As one can gather, with this fragrance, Repetto takes us to a distant elsewhere. It is undeniably the most exotic and sun-kissed recipe in the entire Repetto fragrance collection.

Néroli Solaire, Repetto's very first yellow bottle

While Repetto innovates with the recipe of the feminine eau de toilette Néroli Solaire, it must be noted that its bottle is just as surprising. Indeed, unlike its predecessors, it does not adopt the traditional pink color of star dancers. Its sun-kissed side also shows through in its visual. For the very first time, Repetto dares a glass bottle in shades of yellow. Repetto Néroli Solaire nonetheless celebrates movement in its undulating shapes. Its silhouette remains identical to that of its predecessors. Its color, however, seems to want to celebrate summer.

When Aliénor Massenet decides to step out of her comfort zone

Finally, it should be noted that Repetto Néroli Solaire owes its existence to one of the most talented perfumers of her generation: Aliénor Massenet. Yet, here again, she did not hesitate to stray from the beaten path and her habits. In most of her creations, Aliénor Massenet favors highly contrasted scents. Likewise, nearly all her fragrances contain labdanum or myrrh. These are her signature ingredients. Yet, with Repetto Néroli Solaire, everything is lightness and softness. This feminine fragrance shows no real olfactory contrast. It is rather smooth and falls within the register of tenderness. Likewise, the star ingredients of Aliénor Massenet's palette are entirely absent. It would therefore seem that Repetto Néroli Solaire is placed under the sign of discovery and renewal.
