Like a craving for vacation with the new fragrance from Réminiscence, Rem Coco. Warm sand, sunshine, postcard landscapes, the smell of sea air. These are the elements that have always fascinated Nino Amaddeo and Zoé Coste, founders of the house Réminiscence. True globe-trotters, they made their travels their main source of inspiration. This is how the fragrance Rem was born, in 1996.

Where to buy

Today, once again, it reinvents itself and gives birth to Rem Coco. Creamier but just as tropical, it explores the register of exoticism through a comforting and gourmand coconut scent. So, how about treating yourself to a journey to the heart of a distant island? Réminiscence takes us on a trip!

A look back at the history of the fragrance Rem by Réminiscence

First, let us set the scene and explain the story of the very first fragrance Rem. It all began with a trip to the heart of the island of Saint-Barthélemy. Nino Amaddeo and Zoé Coste had forgotten their sunscreen and decided to buy a bottle at a local shop. They were then captivated by the scent of this product, made with tiare flowers. Upon their return, they decided to turn it into a fragrance. This is how Rem was created, like a sun cream evocative of far-off vacations. This fragrance has, since then, been revisited many times. Now, its exoticism comes through in a strong concentration of coconut. The magic, however, still works. With a single breath, Rem Coco takes us to the other end of the world!

Rem Coco, a soft coconut scent

The name of this fragrance could not be clearer: Rem Coco is a fragrance built around coconut. This raw material is the common thread running through this fragrance. Thus, a coconut nectar appears right from its top notes. At first, for added freshness, it pairs with a marine accord, as if straight from the ocean. Then, creamier, it gives way to a coconut milk brightened and warmed by a sun-kissed accord. A floral scent heightens the femininity of the whole. Little by little, Rem Coco intensifies its sensuality in a more animalic musk base. Finally, vanilla reinforces the smooth, tropical breath of this fragrance.

Réminiscence brings back its emblematic bottle

Like its predecessors, Rem Coco comes to us in a rounded bottle. Here, it almost resembles a thick drop of water whose shape is somewhat irregular. Its turquoise color of old has given way to a frosted white that clearly evokes the inside of a coconut. The word “coco”, meanwhile, is displayed in brown lettering, as if to evoke the outside of this exotic fruit. Finally, the whole is topped with a small chrome cap whose shape is inspired by that of coral. Both through its visual and its scent, Rem Coco instinctively takes us to a distant island for sun-drenched vacations.
