Legend Spirit, or the journey through the icy lands of Montblanc

For the magnificent Legend, Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson, two virtuosos of modern perfumery, did not hesitate to play with contrasts to express a new man between freshness, floral notes and sensual woods. Exactly in the image of this man who delights in writing the lines of his life with the famous black Meisterstück, the obvious inspiration for the fragrance.

With Legend Intense, the perfumers offered an even deeper and more sensual juice. For Legend Spirit, however, the journey would be different. Indeed, Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp wanted to move somewhat away from the Meisterstück of Legend to draw closer to the geographic and historical roots of the Montblanc brand, namely the famous peak that dominates the Alps with its immaculate whiteness and its almost shimmering grey tones. It is by drawing inspiration from these icy colors that the perfumers developed the composition of Legend Spirit.

Inspired by all the shapes and shades of white, between snow and marble, the two master perfumers, Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp, found as if by evidence the right composition to create a fresh, virile and breathtakingly intense fragrance, much like a fabulous landscape. Bursts of spicy freshness for a distinguished Montblanc Legend Spirit

As the inspiration changed between Legend, Legend Intense and this latest opus Legend Spirit, it was logical that the raw materials and effects would change accordingly. In fact, for Legend Spirit, the perfumers chose to enhance the citrus top notes of the original juice to turn it into a true cocktail of freshness in Legend Spirit.

A choice that hardly comes as a surprise from Olivier Cresp, given how passionate and seasoned he is about the choice of citrus ingredients tied to his roots. He describes citrus fruits as authentic and pure ingredients in his eyes, which are an integral part of his childhood.

Thus Legend Spirit sets off to conquer the heights of its bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper notes but, for the first time, plunges into iodized hearts. These aquatic notes do not forget to blend with the warm spices of cardamom to recall the vibrant contrasts of the entire Legend range.

Finally, although the beautiful Legend Spirit was born of the snow-covered mountains of Montblanc, it does not hesitate to assert in its depths the powerful woody signature of the Legend men. Certainly, with Legend Spirit the journey is different, but it is no less elegant and just as sensual as the other fragrances in the Legend range.
