Announced on March 14, 2026, Legend Elixir extends the line opened by Legend in 2011, of which it is a flanker. The fragrance belongs to the Legend collection, operated under license by Interparfums, and appears the same year under the name Elixir, a term that in the house's nomenclature designates a more concentrated reading of the original theme.
Antoine Maisondieu and Guillaume Flavigny compose the fragrance. This attribution circulates in the specialized press without being confirmed by any communication from the house.
The concentration remains inconsistent from one source to another: the release relayed by the specialized press bears the designation Parfum, in 30, 50 and 100 ml, while the montblanc.com sales page names the product Eau de Parfum in 30 ml. The classification varies in the same way, between an amber fougère noted by the specialized press and an Amber label used by French retailers.
