Le Mâle Pride

A wave of solidarity with the new Le Mâle Pride from Jean-Paul Gaultier. The enfant terrible of fashion, Jean-Paul Gaultier never does anything like everyone else and never shies away from tackling taboo subjects. To give shape to the androgyny of our era, he has never hesitated to send men down the runway in skirts and to mix genders.

Cardamom, spicy and fresh, bergamot, fruity and sweet, and mint, minty and fresh, open the composition. Cardamom and mint meet on freshness; bergamot keeps its sweet fruit apart.

Cinnamon, whose woodiness comes from the bark, orange blossom, waxy and powdery, and caraway, spicy and cumin-like, form the heart. Cinnamon and caraway meet on the spicy register, while orange blossom remains on a powdery plane.

At the base come cedar, evoking pencil shavings and resin, vanilla, warm and sensual, and amber, camphoraceous and animalic. The camphor of the amber and the resin of the cedar have nothing of the warmth of the vanilla.
