Cuir Grenat was released in 2023 in the Les Merveilles collection by L’Artisan Parfumeur. Christophe Raynaud tells the story of a Moroccan leather workshop: a grainy raspberry opens the composition, a leather shot through with amber flashes answers it, and Ambrofix holds the base with its woody warmth. The house was seeking a scent that would convey the sensation of touch.
Dariush Alavi, who writes as Persolaise, places Cuir Grenat among the copies of Tuscan Leather and finds it has no purpose of its own. Auparfum mentions it in passing, without devoting an article to it.

The editorial team at Auparfum, a publication of the Nez group, does not devote an article to Cuir Grenat. It mentions the fragrance in passing, a year after its release, placing it among the house’s amber woody fragrances, alongside the chypre À Fleur de Pêche launched the same year.
