Compulsion is released in 2026 within the Prada Olfactories, the house's limited-distribution luxury fragrance line. The name arrives with five other new releases from the same batch: Malombra, Nylon Noir, Pink Flamboyance, Tainted Violet and Trembled Blossoms, six additions that extend an already extensive collection in a single move.

The brand text describes a woody, musky Eau de Parfum with mineral accents, built around a combination of Ambrofix and coumarin, heightened with aldehydes. The formula is thus presented through its materials rather than through a narrative motif or a place, and the accord that structures it rests on two ingredients named as such.

No official Prada product page has been devoted to it to date, and the perfumer's name has not been made public.
