Lacoste Original

Lacoste Original is the men’s eau de toilette launched by Lacoste in 1984 with the help of the house of Jean Patou, which then marketed the brand’s fragrances under license. The house classes it among aromatic fougères: lemon, bergamot, lavender and menthol at the top, a heart of geranium and clove, a base of coumarin, in a square white and green bottle stamped with the crocodile.

A square white and green bottle, in the colors of the brand’s polo shirts, stamped with the crocodile at its center.

The Lacoste Original bottle takes up the two colors of the brand’s polo shirts, white and dark green, and places the crocodile at its center, like a coat of arms.

Osmoz describes it as square, with softened corners, easy to hold, bearing the Lacoste name and the crocodile in simple graphics. In 2008, the house paired the glass with protective shells.
