Woman in Gold

Woman in Gold is a Kilian floral composed by Calice Becker for the house’s tenth anniversary, in 2017, and inspired by Gustav Klimt. A petal-like rose paired with geranium opens on bergamot and pink pepper and rests on a base of vanilla absolute, tonka bean and Akigalawood, a molecule with patchouli accents. The house sees in it the gold leaf of the painting and its play of shadow and light.

Woman in Gold comes in a refillable bottle with a white lacquered finish, engraved with an Achilles shield on each of its sides. A gold metal plate, on which the name of the fragrance is engraved by hand, adorns the front.

In the official photograph, the rectangular bottle with rounded corners wears a gold cap. The house says it can be refilled endlessly and is made in France, and offers it in 50 and 100 ml, with a 100 ml refill.

At its launch, in 2017, the fragrance was presented in a collector’s box decorated in homage to Klimt’s style, and was also offered in a 250 ml crystal carafe.
