K by Dolce & Gabbana is a fragrance that fits beautifully within the heritage of the Italian brand to which it belongs, while resembling no other fragrance! It skillfully combines ingredients commonly used in men's fragrances with other, far more surprising raw materials. At first, it brings together Sicilian lemon, blood orange and juniper berry. As a result, it takes on a striking, typically Mediterranean freshness. Then lavender, sage and geranium take over, before giving way to a woodier sillage. Up to this point, Dolce & Gabbana offers a fairly classic construction. However, the bold Italian house could not stop there! Dolce & Gabbana decided to incorporate chili pepper into its fragrance. Rarely used in fragrances, this raw material gives the whole an untamed fire and a note more incandescent than ever. This is precisely where K by Dolce & Gabbana's strong, unique personality comes from. The boldness pays off here, and K by Dolce & Gabbana leaves behind an indelible impression.
The bold bottle of K
Aesthetically too, originality is very much present! In fact, two different styles clash on this bottle. On one side, its transparent glass base is fairly understated. Its elongated rectangular silhouette fits perfectly with the image of other Dolce & Gabbana fragrances. Its cap, however, plays in a completely different register… To close its bottle, Dolce & Gabbana chose a crown-shaped cap. Even better: each piece is handcrafted and therefore unique. The cap of K by Dolce & Gabbana contains 24-carat gold particles, as well as a few bluish touches, resembling precious stones set into the headdresses of the greatest kings. The whole is presented in royal blue and gold packaging, as if coming straight from another era. The message could not be clearer: K by Dolce & Gabbana remains true to itself and respects tradition while remaining attuned to modernity.
