Thus Just Rock for Him was composed by Nathalie Lorson and Aurélien Guichard, and Just Rock For Her by Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac. By choosing this continuity in creation, Zadig & Voltaire highlights a certain loyalty to talent but also to the two first fragrances that made the success of this new perfumery line. Moreover, while Just Rock For Her and Just Rock For Him are meant to be two olfactory variations around a burning patchouli, This is Her and This is Him played on the same codes as variations around sandalwood.

When the Robertet perfumer duo, Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac, decided on the composition of their new opus for Zadig & Voltaire, one choice quickly became obvious: patchouli. Patchouli, placed at the heart of Just Rock For Her, is moreover one of Michel Almairac's favorite raw materials.
But the two highly creative perfumers knew how to pair this sensual patchouli with two flowers of exceptional creaminess and depth: jasmine and tuberose. As lovers of short formulas, Sidonie Lancesseur and Michel Almairac, whom she considers her mentor, immediately used these two enchanting flowers as top notes. A bold gamble that nonetheless offers an entry far more original than the usual tangy top notes.
After immersing us in its floral and honeyed beauties to the fullest, Just Rock For Her, ultimately far more tender and sensual than rock and rebellious, takes us into the sensual depths of patchouli forests, without forgetting to give us a glimpse of a gourmand paradise wrapped in vanilla…
