Joy Dior Eau de Parfum Intense While the Dior house has a history spanning many decades, its Joy Dior fragrance, by contrast, is much more recent. It appeared in 2018 and, although it already enjoys worldwide recognition, it remains the house's newest addition!
Our review of the Joy Dior Intense fragrance Since its founding in 1946, the Dior house has sought to perfect femininity and enhance the charm of each of its customers. Yet what better way to make a woman even more beautiful than by giving her a radiant smile? Conceived as an ode to gaiety, Joy de Dior is a manifesto of happiness and joie de vivre. Created in 2018, it was initially described as a floral and refreshing juice, designed by the talented François Demachy, the house's official perfumer. Today, Dior's nose has chosen to reinterpret this fragrance to create a more Intense edition. So what about Joy Intense? Does it live up to its predecessor? Does it surpass it? Here is our review!

Joy Intense, a smoother and more sensual fragrance
Since its launch, Joy de Dior has proven to be very girly and playful. Its charm exudes gaiety and suits young women beautifully. Yet this time, Joy Intense has a touch of added sensuality that is not unwelcome. At first, its freshness gains in brightness with the addition of neroli. This accompanies the bergamot already present in the previous Joy de Dior. Then, its heart remains unchanged. It combines jasmine and Grasse rose, two flowers from sumptuous French gardens, of impeccable quality. Its sensuality is then heightened in the base. The woody breath of Joy is now enriched with a captivating vanilla and tonka bean. The whole becomes even sweeter and more captivating.
Joy Intense enhances its bottle with a finely carved star
As for the bottle, at first glance, Joy Intense closely resembles its predecessor. However, do not be mistaken and look a little closer… To further enhance the bottle, Dior has embedded a star in it, like a compass rose carved into its base. Completely transparent, the Joy Intense bottle further accentuates its familiar pink hue, which only amplifies its femininity. Its name, meanwhile, is elegantly inscribed on the front face. Its cap is wrapped in a shimmering silver thread, like a nod to Dior's refined haute couture world. The whole is a great success!
Jennifer Lawrence, a well-chosen ambassador
On screen, to showcase its new fragrance, Dior called upon one of the most famous American actresses. The face of the campaign for Joy Intense is none other than Jennifer Lawrence. Passionate, sensual and lively, the young woman fits the image of this fragrance beautifully. Showcased in sumptuous outfits, she is immersed here in Dior's luxurious atmosphere, delivering her charm to the famous Rolling Stones song, “She's a Rainbow”. Here again, the choice of this song seems ideal. It only adds more energy and joie de vivre to the Joy Intense advertisement. More than ever, with this fragrance, Dior left nothing to chance!
