JOY de Dior Intense

Joy Dior Eau de Parfum Intense While the Dior house has a history spanning many decades, its Joy Dior fragrance, by contrast, is much more recent. It appeared in 2018 and, although it already enjoys worldwide recognition, it remains the house's newest addition!

The bottle of the Joy Dior fragrance gains in intensity Embodied on screen by the seductive Jennifer Lawrence, Joy Intense appeared during the summer of 2019, offering a new version of Joy, created a year earlier. Still fresh and floral, this fragrance is an ode to gaiety that becomes, for the occasion, more sensual than ever. Its heart of rose and jasmine is now wrapped in a sultry vanilla, delicately softened with tonka bean. The charm takes hold from its very first breath. But what about its bottle? Very close to the visual of its predecessor, it has a few distinctions that only heighten its refinement.

Joy Intense is enhanced with a few new details

Dior's Joy Intense is still presented in a cylindrical bottle, whose transparent glass reveals a pink-colored juice. The first distinction between Joy Intense and its original version is found precisely in this element. Its pink hue is now bolder than before. It thus enhances the femininity of this fragrance while visually evoking its new intensity. But that is not the only novelty of the Joy Intense bottle… Looking more closely, one will also notice that its glass has been altered. Once perfectly smooth, it is now embellished with a few reliefs and sculpted like a genuine gemstone. Thus, it captures ambient light and creates multiple reflections within its juice. What is more, its base is now decorated with a compass rose sculpted directly into the glass. With Joy Intense, everything is elegance, as if fine jewelry had made its way into perfumery.

The absolute refinement of the Dior bottle

Beyond these differentiating elements, Joy Intense shares a few similarities with its predecessor, details so refined that Dior could not part with them… Let us begin with the name Joy Intense. It is inscribed in capital letters on the front face, in a silver color matching that of the cap. The word Dior, meanwhile, is set within the perfect circle of the O in Joy. The whole is topped with a cabochon wrapped in a silver thread. This thread runs entirely around it and shines brightly like a jewel. Far from being chosen at random, this silver thread also evokes Dior's refined haute couture world.

The Joy Intense bottle: an echo of Dior's masculine world

Finally, it should be noted that the silhouette of this bottle closely resembles that of its masculine counterpart, for the very famous fragrance Sauvage, released in 2015. Both are contemporary and cylindrical. Where Joy Intense plays the card of femininity in a pink hue, Sauvage relies on a darker masculinity in midnight blue. From then on, these two fragrances are like two complementary beings irresistibly drawn to one another. Through their heavy, imposing glass, both bottles are synonymous with luxury. Their roundness, meanwhile, unmistakably echoes the generosity and sensuality of these two fragrances.
