If Lanvin chose to reinterpret its perfumes Jeanne Lanvin and My Sin, it is undoubtedly because these are two fragrances that marked its history. The first of the two appeared in 1925, in the midst of the Roaring Twenties. At that time, Jeanne Lanvin was at the height of her fame. Particularly prolific, she created no fewer than 14 olfactory creations in barely two years. My Sin was aimed more particularly at young women in bloom, delivering to them a particularly tempting message and making them succumb, for the very first time, to the art of perfumery. The second perfume, named Jeanne Lanvin, was born in 2008. It was created at the initiative of the talented artistic director Alber Elbaz, eager to pay tribute to Jeanne Lanvin herself. Its heart, meanwhile, is more floral. It unfolds around the queen of flowers: the rose. Its crystallized petals are paired with freesia for a most romantic effect.
