Santal Paname

Santal Paname is a unisex eau de parfum by Jean Paul Gaultier, launched in 2026 in Les Ateliers Gaultier and composed by Coralie Spicher and Fabrice Pellegrin. This woody fruity scent, which the house dedicates to Paris by night, pairs violet leaf at the top, blackberry in the central tier and sandalwood at the base.

Jean Paul Gaultier classes Santal Paname among the woody fruity fragrances and arranges its notes across three tiers: violet leaf at the top, blackberry in the central tier, sandalwood at the base.

Blackberry

Blackberry arrives unannounced, according to the house, bold and passionate, and sets the tone like Paris after midnight. Soft and velvety, it converses with the sandalwood; one seduces, the other envelops.

Sandalwood

At the base, sandalwood envelops everything, creamy and smooth, with a power that never holds back. The house describes an accord that is anything but reasonable, a fragrance that leaves its mark, the mark of audacity.

What the label declares

Denatured alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, ahead of tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Virginia cedarwood oil, trimethylcyclopentenyl methylisopentenol and hexamethylindanopyran, synthetic woods and a synthetic musk. Santalol, the odorous principle of sandalwood, appears further down.

The list also declares a UV filter, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, and four colorants, Yellow 5, Red 4, Blue 1 and Violet 2, which tint the juice. Vanillin, coumarin, benzaldehyde, farnesol and benzyl alcohol are among its twenty-seven items.
