Le Sel d’Issey Parfum

Le Sel d’Issey Parfum is the third chapter, in parfum concentration, of Issey Miyake’s Le Sel d’Issey line, released in 2026 and signed by Quentin Bisch. The house describes it as woody, marine and leathery: a salt accord and a saffron accord meet marine seaweed and dark woods, over a base of amber accord and oakmoss, in a bottle with a dark brown gradient.

Issey Miyake describes a woody, marine and leathery fragrance built on the tension between ultra-fresh sea notes and heated land accords. Salt and saffron lead the way, seaweed and woods form the heart, amber and oakmoss the base.

Salt, saffron and oakmoss

The notes are arranged here as follows: salt and saffron at the top; seaweed and woody notes in the heart; amber and oakmoss at the base. Salt, saffron and amber are accords recomposed by the perfumer; the house says the amber accord is of natural origin.

The house credits saffron with an ardent, spicy warmth, the woods with a textured depth and marine seaweed with a mineral, aquatic character, and sees in oakmoss a natural richness that deepens the contrast with the sea.
