Where to buy

The quality of its products as well as its creativity make it one of the most admired houses in the world. Yet Prada has never forgotten its origins. Each of its creations therefore preserves a distinctly Mediterranean charm, while also being imbued with a certain heritage of the past. This is precisely what one finds in Prada's Infusion d'Ylang.

Prada's Infusion d'Ylang, a timeless unisex fragrance

Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is part of an olfactory collection aimed at both men and women alike. Like all of Prada's Infusions, this fragrance belongs to no particular era or trend. Thus, no one could truly assign it an age. Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is resolutely inspired by the modern world, while paying tribute to a long-acquired craftsmanship. This fragrance is thus the very embodiment of Prada's style as a whole. It claims a contemporary spirit while preserving a slightly retro aspect. As a result, it becomes all the more poetic. Prada's Infusion d'Ylang carries the emotion of a memory. Finally, it chooses an emblematic raw material of perfumery and elevates it: ylang-ylang.

Prada's Infusion d'Ylang, a sun-kissed, floral and spicy sensation

Prada's Infusion d'Ylang showcases the very particular breath of ylang-ylang. Indeed, this fresh flower is both gentle and powerful. Even though it is a white flower, ylang-ylang unfolds a spicy facet. Creamy, floral and exotic, it instantly brings to mind sun-kissed monoi. It thus immediately evokes the soothing image of vacations. In Prada's Infusion d'Ylang, ylang-ylang is enhanced by other ingredients. At first, it is freshened by contact with bergamot. Cardamom comes to spice it up and reinforce its untamed character. Finally, to counterbalance this fire, Prada's Infusion d'Ylang ultimately wraps itself in a creamier, milkier sandalwood.

The emblematic bottle of Prada's Infusions

Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is part of an olfactory collection. This becomes apparent as soon as one sees its bottle. Indeed, it is shared by all of Prada's Infusions. Stripped of anything superfluous, it is a glass rectangle revealing a pale yellow fragrance. Incidentally, this yellow hue is also present on its cap, crafted in Saffiano leather. It brilliantly evokes the brightness of the sun as well as the center of the ylang-ylang flower. The leather, meanwhile, recalls Prada's past as a leather goods maker. Finally, the bottle of Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is also adorned with the house's official crest, designed by Miuccia Prada's grandfather in 1913, bearing the insignia of the House of Savoy. As for size, Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is available in a 100 ml format.

Olfastory’s review

Prada is now among the best-known Italian houses in the world. Yet at its founding in 1913, it was merely a small leather goods shop established in Milan. Today, though it has become a genuine luxury empire, Prada never forgets its heritage. It is therefore at the crossroads of eras that Prada's Infusion d'Ylang is positioned. Resolutely forward-looking, it also preserves a bygone craftsmanship. Like all of Prada's Infusions, it showcases one particular ingredient: ylang-ylang. Here is our review of this timeless, unisex fragrance.

The Infusions reimagined by Sundsbø

Sølve Sundsbø reinterprets the imagery of the Infusions for the 2022 launch, in a campaign the press names “In Fusion With You”.

Prada entrusts director and photographer Sølve Sundsbø with reinterpreting the imagery of the Infusions for the launch of Infusion d'Ylang and Infusion de Vanille. The house describes a modern, sensual approach, where technology and the human gesture meet, each ingredient becoming a second skin.

The press names this campaign “In Fusion With You” and attributes its images to Sølve Sundsbø.
