For Him Eau de Toilette

The house places For Him among the aromatic fougères. The published notes put violet leaf and aromatic notes at the top, white musks in the heart, and patchouli and amber in the base; the British launch presentation also adds woods.

Musk forms the axis of the fragrance: it is the Egyptian musk oil that Narciso Rodriguez has worn since his early days and that already structures For Her. Around it, violet leaf brings a green note with a vegetal character, while patchouli and amber provide a warm foundation.

The Musc for Him oil, offered from the launch, concentrates the musk further; Perfume Posse finds violet leaf, patchouli, and amber in it. The 2009 eau de parfum takes another direction, built around pink pepper and iris.

Lavender, pink pepper, vetiver, geranium, or coumarin appear in later descriptions; the house does not declare them, and only the four materials of the launch announcement are among the notes retained.
