For Her Eau de Parfum

For Her, the new eau de parfum by Narciso Rodriguez. Narciso Rodriguez is an American couturier of Cuban descent who owes his fame not only to his talent but also to his friend Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. It was he who designed her famous wedding dress, which appeared on the cover of one of the world's greatest magazines.

A modernist rectilinear shape lacquered in blush pink, black box: the exact inversion of the colors of the eau de toilette bottle.

The bottle echoes the architectural silhouette of the for her collection: a clean rectilinear shape, which the house links to the clean lines of modernist architecture. The black interior lacquer of the eau de toilette is replaced here by a blush pink, a color the brand also counts among its emblems.

The lineage is explicit. The house describes the eau de toilette bottle as a black architectural form suspended in translucent glass, a bottle within a bottle, housed in a pale pink box. For the eau de parfum, Fragrantica notes the inversion of the codes: pink bottle and black box. The black, massive bottle of the first For Her was designed by Narciso Rodriguez himself, according to Wallpaper*, though no source indicates whether he also designed the pink version.

A brand text reproduced by the retailer Dillard's describes a lacquered bottle, stripped of anything superfluous, modern and discreet, with a soft pink lacquer. Retailers today offer sizes of 30, 50 and 100 ml.
