For Habit Rouge Dress Code, Thierry Wasser naturally used the sumptuous oriental and leathery accords that Jean-Paul Guerlain composed to represent the horse and the earth. But this time, spicy and woody notes replace the flowers, and praline rounds out the whole with gourmand, highly feminine accords.

Thus Habit Rouge Dress Code adopts the references of its own era, setting aside the very classic citrus opening of its 1965 elder to retain only bergamot, which this time pairs with distinctly feminine notes of neroli and rose.
