Labdanum, warm and amber, occupies the top alongside orange, sweet and fresh: the freshness of the orange contrasts with the amber warmth of the labdanum.
Lavender, floral and camphoraceous, sits alongside benzoin, vanillic and caramelized, in the heart; one is aromatic and fresh, the other gourmand and sweet.
Amber and musk share a woody base, while musk meets vanilla on a shared warmth; the three materials thus respond to each other on two different levels.
