Eros Eau de Parfum gives the Versace Eros lineage an Eau de Parfum concentration. Woody, it opens with lemon, mandarin, mint and candied apple; geranium and clary sage form its heart, and cedars, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla, brushed by leather, make up its base.
Citrus, mint and candied apple
The top brings together lemon and mandarin, a duo Versace presents as typically Italian, mint and candied apple. The citrus notes give the opening its brightness, mint a lively freshness, and apple a sweet roundness.
Geranium, sage and AmberMax®
The heart combines geranium flower, clary sage essence and AmberMax®, a woody and ambery material. Geranium and sage give this passage its aromatic tone, and AmberMax® already announces the warmth of the base.
Cedars, sandalwood and vanilla
The base rests on a wood accord that brings together Atlas and Virginia cedars, vetiver and patchouli, extended by sandalwood and vanilla. Versace has vanilla engage with a leather note here, for a creamy effect that heightens the oriental character of the fragrance.
The vetiver and patchouli heart used are Orpur® quality essences.
What the label declares
The label declares limonene, linalool and coumarin at the top of the odorant substances: the citrus of the opening, linalool present in lavender and bergamot, and coumarin, with its hay and tonka bean odor, which the displayed notes do not mention. Geraniol and citronellol extend the geranium.
Cinnamal and eugenol add a touch of cinnamon and clove, and alpha-isomethyl ionone a facet of iris. Unlike the Eros Eau de Toilette, the list declares no UV filter.
