FLOWER BY KENZO Poppy Bouquet Eau de Parfum

A new, very floral Eau de Toilette appears at Kenzo. Created to celebrate Kenzo's passage into the year 2000, Flower By Kenzo tells the story of a very singular flower: the poppy. Has anyone ever noticed that this plant releases no scent at all? It took real audacity to dare turn it into a perfume

Since its release in the year 2000, the perfume Flower By Kenzo has told the story of the power of a very singular flower, at once unexpected, fragile and scentless: the poppy. Because it took audacity to design a fragrance inspired by a scentless flower, success followed immediately. Quite naturally, riding on its popularity among women, Flower By Kenzo has reinvented itself many times throughout its history. Today it transforms once again and gives rise to Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet, a very refreshing perfume, with Japanese inspiration, giving off a particularly floral and luminous breath. For the occasion, Kenzo has us rediscover its emblematic bottle. Here is the full detail of its design, at once minimalist yet so iconic.

Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet, a bottle designed by Serge Mansau

Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet comes in Kenzo's usual bottle, sober and minimalist, yet unlike any other perfume bottle. As a reminder, this glass bottle was designed in 2000 by one of the greatest and most talented designers of our time: Serge Mansau. Particularly prolific, he has already collaborated with numerous major luxury houses. Highly creative, he is nicknamed within the profession the man of 250 bottles. So as not to offend him, know also that he hates being called a designer. He prefers to describe himself as an artist with more than one trick up his sleeve. For him, designing bottles means being at once a glassblower, architect, draftsman, sculptor and set designer. It is therefore all of this fascination and his love for the craft that resurfaces here in a vertical surge of crystal.

The delightfully curved bottle of Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet

Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet is revealed in a sober, timeless bottle. Indeed, despite its 20 years of existence, this bottle has not aged in the slightest. Celebrating the union of the flower and the city, it draws inspiration from the contemporary architecture of buildings stretching skyward, while borrowing from them a noble material: glass. Its slight curve, meanwhile, evokes the shape of a flower stem, gently sculpted by the wind. Here, within the transparency of its glass, a juice with a soft pink hue is revealed. Naturally, echoing its source of inspiration, a poppy is also drawn on its walls. Its stem stretches all along the bottle, while its petals decorate the transparent cap. The whole is topped with a golden spray nozzle. Luminous and synonymous with luxury, this touch of gold echoes the sun. After all, is the poppy not undeniably associated with the summer season? From nature to the city, with Flower By Kenzo Poppy Bouquet, it is but a single step.
