Even the advertising campaign for “Dolce Rosa Excelsa” brings together Italians: director Giuseppe Tornatore, composer Ennio Morricone and actress Sophia Loren. One also recalls Monica Bellucci, who represented the perfume “Sicily”… In the image of Sophia Loren, the “Dolce Rosa Excelsa” woman is a sophisticated woman who nonetheless does not lack character. The young woman who presents the perfume, alongside Sophia Loren, is a 20-year-old model, Kate King. Like Italian women, she has long, dark, silky hair. She also has a captivating gaze and a delicate smile… Sensual, the bottle is too. With a bright red rose as its cap, the bottle also carries a power of seduction. This rose is a nod to the flowers sculpted from almond paste by traditional Sicilian pastry makers. The transparency of the glass, moreover, allows a glimpse of its soft pink-colored juice.
