The perfumers modernized the 1994 composition, transforming it into a juice that remained just as feminine but became much more oriental and fruity.

Purists are not fooled: while Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme exuded original and powerful scents in the 1994 composition signed by Jean-Pierre Mary, the 2012 version is much more common, though very luminous.

First, the top notes, between the 1994 version and the 2012 one, have hardly lost any of their citrus dynamism. On the other hand, the 2012 version of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme has lost many of the floral and original scents of its predecessor, turning solely toward Mediterranean flowers. A difficult choice, given how much the 1994 heart had struck minds and won over aesthetes with a sensual tuberose and a delicate rose.
Nevertheless, in keeping with the new millennium, Dolce & Gabbana chose the brightness of orange blossom and the fruity accents of raspberry. Moreover, the depths of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme in 2012 prefer to carry us toward the indulgences of vanilla and marshmallow rather than tonka bean.
