Gaultier Divine

Gaultier Divine is the eau de parfum launched by Jean Paul Gaultier in August 2023, signed by Quentin Bisch and embodied by Yara Shahidi. A white lily, a meringue and a salty note compose, according to the house, a gourmand floral with a marine twist, on a base of musk and patchouli. The bottle reprises the house's conical corset, a tribute to Madonna's bustier, in a gold-toned version.

Conical corset covered in gold, refillable in 50 and 100 ml, heir to the corset revealed at the spring-summer 1983 runway show.

The corset was revealed by Jean Paul Gaultier at the spring-summer 1983 runway show, passed through Madonna's concerts and subsequently reached the bottles of his fragrances, a lineage that the house traces on a page devoted to the Gaultier Divine corset.

Retailers describe a conical bottle shaped like a corset, covered in gold, refillable in its 50 ml and 100 ml versions, and presented in a white and gold box. Some of these pages see in it a reinterpretation of a haute couture creation by the house and a symbol of feminine liberation, a reading not confirmed elsewhere. The eau de parfum is also available in 30, 50 and 100 ml sizes.

A sales pitch details the refill: an unscrewable auto-stop system, and a saving calculated at 52% glass and 66% metal, the comparison being between a 50 ml bottle paired with a 200 ml refill against five 50 ml bottles. The name of the bottle's designer and its production site are not documented.
