Eau Rose is a unisex eau de parfum by Diptyque, launched in 2022 to mark the tenth anniversary of the 2012 eau de toilette. Signed by Fabrice Pellegrin, it combines Damask rose, centifolia rose and a Firad rose with hints of lychee, chamomile and an artichoke accord. In 2026, the house reissues it in a holiday bottle dressed in black and gold wood.
Two roses and a fruity rose
Diptyque builds Eau Rose around extracts and absolutes of Damask rose and centifolia rose, which it presents as the most fragrant roses in perfumery. A Firad rose essence, with natural hints of lychee, is added to this duo.
Chamomile and artichoke
The house combines these with the honeyed accents of chamomile and a green, vegetal artichoke accord. It echoes in this regard a perfumers’ saying that a beautiful rose always smells of artichoke.
A rose without tiers
The composition is not broken down into top, heart and base notes: the roses, the lychee and the chamomile form a continuous accord, which the house describes as a vibrant, exuberant rose, more faceted than that of the eau de toilette.
