Where to buy

Such a powerful wave that it reached a largely female audience who demanded a new fresh Davidoff fragrance, just for them. Cool Water Woman was thus born in 1997, drawing on the dihydromyrcenol molecule to finally offer aquatic freshness to Guerlain, Dior or Chanel women longing for the ocean.

Cool Water Woman or the feminine advent of fresh newness

If the handsome man of the seas from Cool Water of 1988 managed to widely conquer its audience, its favorite mermaid, Cool Water Woman, waited until 1997 to reveal her aquatic charms. How could one not ride the groundswell of a success as striking as that of Cool Water for men?

So, in terms of marketing and visuals, it comes as no surprise to find the feminine elements that Cool Water highlighted for its first installment. No half-naked fish-man floating prettily in the water this time! For this Cool Water Woman, Davidoff chose a magnificent mermaid with azure blue eyes who reveals her highly undressed figure to retrieve Cool Water Woman like a message in a bottle!

Sea spray, half-naked bodies, flamboyant figures and the bottle put on display are the ingredients of this campaign for Cool Water Woman, resembling point for point the advertising campaigns of Cool Water for men. However, the Cool Water Woman slogan no longer speaks of the power of the sea but of the sensuality of the shimmer of water on skin, while still exuding a natural beauty.

When water turns into a fresh and sparkling perfume, Cool Water Woman is born...

Just like its masculine counterpart, the beauty of the perfume does not lie in the complex design of its bottle but rather in the quality of its juice, as well as in its splendid azure color. It should be noted, however, that the case of Cool Water Woman was given, for the occasion, a pretty water-drop shape recalling its aquatic origin.

Cool Water Woman of course offers an opening in the form of marine notes and the fresh newness of dihydromyrcenol. However, for this feminine installment, Cool Water prefers to move toward delicate fruity notes of pineapple and watermelon, two watery fruits par excellence.

Then lily of the valley and jasmine form a very feminine floral heart while blending well with the pretty watery flower of cyclamen. Of course, peach and melon add a new soft and fruity touch to the whole opening. Finally, sharp and radiant cedar merges into some soft, cottony depths of white musks to elevate this floral and aquatic fragrance, which has not forgotten to be very feminine and captivating.

Cool Water Woman is presented with marketing codes nearly identical to those of its eminent predecessor, Cool Water for men. Freshness and simplicity remain the order of the day, but the mermaid of Cool Water Woman has not, for all that, forgotten her great power of seduction!
