Colonia Essenza is the eau de Cologne Acqua di Parma launched in 2010 to reinterpret Colonia, its 1916 classic, with a touch of originality. Seven citrus notes, from lemon to petitgrain, open onto rosemary, lily of the valley, rose, jasmine and clove, before a woody base of vetiver, patchouli, white musk and amber.
Acqua di Parma’s Art Deco bottle, in clear glass under a black cap, once dressed in opaque black.
Colonia Essenza now comes in Acqua di Parma’s emblematic bottle, the quintessence of Art Deco, in clear glass under a classic black cap, with a cylindrical box in yellow matte paper, according to the house and Sephora. The house speaks of a restyled bottle.
In 2020 Scent Grail described a cylindrical bottle in opaque, matte black glass, inspired by the 1916 Art Deco Colonia flacon, in a black and white box. The fragrance sells in 50, 100 and 180 ml.
